HIRE TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

  1. ALL HIRE items now have a $100 or $150 refundable deposit payable at the time of hiring, this will be refunded back upon receipt of cleaning and complete hire packages.

  2. All HIRE items are to be returned either by post, courier or hand to the address provided at the time of ordering.

  3. ALL HIRE items are to be returned within 2 weeks of the birth of the baby.

  4. ALL HIRE items are NON-REFUNDABLE if not used during the hire period.

  5. Peace of Mind Midwifery accepts no liability for accidents, damage to your property or personal injury incurred during transit or use of the hire equipment supplied. 

 

TENS HIRE TERMS

  • Your labour TENS machine will come with everything you need to use it, including one set of new electrode pads, lead wires and fresh batteries.

  • Please familiarise yourself with your labour TENS machine and let us know at once if you have any questions or concerns. If you need help using the TENS machine or there is any problem, you do not want to discover this during labour.

  • Instructions for using your labour TENS machine will be provided with your hire.

  • You must not use a labour TENS machine before 37 weeks of pregnancy, over the abdomen or on the head, near water or in the vicinity of children. You must not use a TENS machine if you have a pacemaker, heart disease or epilepsy.

  • Please check with your care provider to ensure that using a labour TENS machine is right for you. You should only use your labour TENS machine under advice and guidance from your care provider.

  • Our liability shall never exceed the hire fee paid by you.

  • It is your responsibility to ensure that the hire product is returned with all accessories provided (except used pads)

  • If your hire product is returned to us damaged by accident or misuse, you will be liable for the repair or replacement costs (less any hire fees already paid). If the hire product is lost or stolen, you will need to reimburse us for the full cost of the unit and accessories (less any hire fees already paid).

  • The hire period for the TENS Machines is 6 weeks, items not returned at the end of the 6 weeks without the prior consent of Peace of Mind Midwifery may result in additional hire costs. The hire fee is not refundable even if the product is unused.

  • If TENS PLUS is returned damaged beyond repair the full replacement will be charged to your nominated credit card below for the amount of $235.00

  • If TENS 2 is returned damaged beyond repair the full replacement will be charged to your nominated credit card below for the amount of $190.00.

  • A refunded deposit of $100 is payable at the time of ordering, the deposit is fully refundable upon receipt of a clean and intact hire item. Returned Items will be checked within 7 business days of return. Any damaged pieces or unclean items will result in an immediate forfeit of the deposit.

  • The Electro Pads are included in the cost of the hire of the TENS machines, the pads are NOT refundable even if returned unused/unopened.

  • You agree to return your TENS machine to Peace of Mind Midwifery at the completion of the 6-week hire period. If you need extra time because your baby has not yet arrived, that is fine – please just let us know.

  • ****Machine/Cords/Probe MUST BE cleaned with Antibacterial wipes after use ****

 

CUB HIRE TERMS

  • Cub Support dry and wiped clean.

  • Used according to the Manual Instructions

  • Hire is for a 6-week period from the date of pickup

  • Peace of Mind Midwifery accepts no liability for accidents, damage to your property or personal injury incurred during transit or use of the CUB Support supplied. The CUB Support is used at your own risk.

PEANUT BALL HIRE TERMS

  • Peanut balls are to be cleaned and wiped dry.

  • Hire is for a 6-week period from the date of pickup

  • Peace of Mind Midwifery accepts no liability for accidents, damage to your property or personal injury incurred during transit or use of the peanut ball supplied. The peanut ball is used at your own risk.

 

BIRTH POOL HIRE TERMS

  • If Pool is returned damaged beyond repair the full replacement will be charged to your nominated credit card for the amount of $650.00. The submersible water pump will be charged at $90.

  • I understand the following forms part of the terms and conditions for the hire of all Peace of Mind Midwifery equipment.

  • In the event the pool is returned damaged and or hasn't been cleaned the cleaning/security deposit will not be refunded.

  • The liner is fully refundable for the amount of $50.00 if returned unused and sealed in its original packaging.

  • Hire of the pool is non-refundable regardless of use.

  • Contents of the hire package include Pool, liner, air compressor pump, drinking water hose (blue), tap fittings, submersible water pump, and dirty water hose (green). All hire items are to be returned including hoses and connections for sterilisation.

  • The submersible water pump must NOT be used until you are finished using the pool. This is a dirty water pump and is unable to be cleaned to a standard to prevent cross-contamination. If you use this and re-enter the pool, you will be subjecting mother and baby to contamination.

  • Returnable products: Pool in a black bag, unused liner sealed in original packaging, air pump, submersible pump, tap fittings, drinking water hose and blue drinking water bag, dirty water hose and dirty water bag.

  • Peace of Mind Midwifery accepts no liability for accidents, damage to your property or personal injury incurred during transit or use of the birth pool supplied. The birth pool is used at your own risk.

 

You the purchaser accept and understand the terms and conditions of hire, as stated in the conditions above by purchasing the hire equipment.
